Dr Pistolese graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry Degree from the University of Sydney in 1979 and for the following years worked in private dental practice in Sydney and London.
In 1988 he completed his Specialist Degree in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney. Since completion of his specialty Dr Pistolese maintained a clinical teaching role with the University of Sydney until 2005.
He now focuses mainly on his private practice in Five Dock as well as continuing with an Honorary Consultant Orthodontic appointment to the Cleft Palate Clinic of Westmead Children’s Hospital since 1989.
Dr Pistolese is a sole practitioner who treats every patient himself along with his resourceful and energetic Dental Assistant and Reception Teams. Patients and parents are provided with treatment options and comprehensive information before treatment commences so they can make an informed decision as to which path to select.
Dr Pistolese loves his work, finds orthodontics highly rewarding and spends most of his time helping to achieve the best results for families in Sydney’s Inner West region where he also lives.
